What Employees Say
I worked at Essilor full-time for more than a year
Great company to work for. All expenses paid, including, mileage, hotel, airfare, food, office supplies, etc. Stock match, full benefits, 401K.
It's a $6 billion company. Upper management doesn't know you. That's expected, though, from a company that big.
Advice to Management
Memorize your National Sales Meeting training speeches. You all come off as very fake and unfeeling. Very robotic. You can't seem to move on until the teleprompter has moved you forward. Memorize... and improvise your training and you will come off as more personable. Sales consultants are expected to know our presentations inside and out and be able to improvise when necessary. You need to do the same thing with your training. You come off as boring and stiff. You need to own your material. Don't just read it. Own it. Make it yours.

Work/life balance is among the best I've seen. Working in our Analytics department is like working for a startup with the backing of a solid company.
Can be challenging working remotely with the other offices.
