I have been working at PROS full-time for more than 8 years

Pros

I've had a handful of jobs in the 20 years I've been working, but I've stayed at PROS the longest. Something about the culture and the way the company cares about its employees, yet also constantly... challenges us.

Cons

Dare to say, working here is addictive. The company cares so much and treats you so well, you want to bend over backwards in your job. Work/Life balance sometimes is effected, but that is more on an... individuals ability to balance, and less on the company requirements on an individual. Its also, in my opinion, for the ELITE. An individual who skims by on the bare minimum will be easily be spotted amongst the earnest workers.

Advice to Management

Culture is a big part of PROS, but cross-training and mapping is equally important. Its hard to show the average employee their part in the overall work PROS is doing. Don't be afraid to go back to... the basics and show people "This is what we do, and this is your part in it."
