Featured Review

Former Intern - Anonymous Intern

I worked at Farrar Straus and Giroux

Pros

As an Editorial/Marketing Intern, most of my job was reading manuscripts and sending out mailings. Most of the manuscripts were terrible, but the job itself was great fun! Amazing work environment,... staff sharp as whips, and they send you home with free books every week.

Cons

I licked a lot of envelopes and packed a lot of books into cardboard boxes, but that comes with the territory.

Advice to Management

Keep up the great work!

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at Housing Works full-time for more than a year

Pros

Helping an underserved, often unseen community find support, health, happiness and friendship through programs and activities plus activism is a win!

Cons

My manager was interested in furthering a career. Thry were very good at making that a priority and hiding it as can do.

Advice to Management

Keep striving, treat all employees equal and stay true to the goals.
