Former Employee - Medical Assistant

I worked at FastMed Urgent Care full-time

Pros

Fast, friendly, and we get the job done

Cons

Just billing issues.

"Great company"Apr 4, 2018

Former Contractor - Information Systems Analyst

I worked at Gaston Family Health Services for less than a year

Pros

The atmosphere is great, everyone is friendly, helpful, and nice. Good events during the summer outside of work. Upper management is nearby, in the office with everyone.

Cons

We were kind of in a bubble in the IT department from what anyone else's cons might be, but sometimes I felt like an outsider. That could have just been because I was on a contract, or I hadn't been... there long enough to get rid of my "new guy"-ness.

Advice to Management

I don't have any real advice for management, just make sure everyone has decent computer competency. We did a lot of tech stuff for the company, and a lot of our time was wasted on doing things like... resetting passwords because people can't remember them.
