Former Employee - Legal

I worked at First American Financial Corporation full-time for more than a year

Pros

The schedule and workload is flexible.

Cons

There is a top-heavy structure that may hinder advancement.

Advice to Management

Clearly it is difficult to improve on many of the employment factors.

Current Employee - Senior Professional, User Experience

I have been working at CoreLogic full-time for less than a year

Pros

CoreLogic has fully embraced User-centered design and development in order to make both our internal and external facing products and software as efficient as possible. UX is heavily involved in... both the strategic and implementation process to help drive improvements. The culture here is fantastic. I truly enjoy every one of my peers and co-workers. Everyone I work with directly and indirectly are professional and at the top of their game. CoreLogic also affords employees the opportunity to be as involved as they wish to be in furthering their careers and offers planning and a path forward to anyone willing to work to advance. Management has the expectation that they have hired seasoned professionals and therefore don't need to micromanage. Salary, benefits, and work/life balance are all very competitive in the market. I TRULY enjoy coming to work.

Cons

None really...with the minor exception that Office hours are 9-6 and traffic near the office has typically reached it's peak by the time I get on the road going home. But since the organization... spans several time zones, there's not really a solution.

Advice to Management

CoreLogic has a Quarterly Corporate Town Hall to keep us informed of the company's vision and accomplishments each quarter, and after the last 2 Town Halls we have received an Employee Feedback... Survey that Corporate actually reads and responds to. Keep it up!
