Current Employee - Ford College Graduate - Safety

I have been working at Ford Motor Company full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

The Ford College Graduate Program fosters engineering expertise for new engineers and allows for a look into the various engineering disciplines within an organization.

Cons

Due to the nature of the program you get an experience for a variety of management and some are better than others.

Former Employee - Director

I worked at Vectorform full-time for less than a year

Pros

It sounds like hyperbole, but I had a great experience at Vectorform working with brilliant engineers and business people on bleeding edge technical and organizational problems that will shape... humanity's future. Friendly team that welcomed me in from day one. Excellent employee support and benefits. Engaged, approachable C suite that acknowledges challenges, rewards ideas, celebrates successes. Exponential growth through 2019 and Q1 2020. Fun of a tech startup atmosphere with stability from Fortune 100 partnerships. Flexible work environment from office or homeshore. Proactive handling of the COVID-19 crisis with uninterrupted service in Royal Oak and Seattle alike. Sincere care for each employee and client. Beautiful offices in great downtown Royal Oak and downtown Detroit locations. Intense, thorough, and careful interview/selection process ensures they bring in quality, stellar team mates.

Cons

Every team has growing pains as they move from the individual hustle of a small company to the necessary structure and specialization of a medium sized organization. It's difficult to re-align team... members, keep them focused on their strength, and ensure they release reigns they are accustom to holding. If you're comfortable speaking up for yourself with respectful reminders (when appropriate) this won't be a con.

Advice to Management

Continue to focus your energy on growth, and the structure necessary to realize Vectorform's potential. Consolidate the fragmented parts of the business into a cohesive unit that can focus on... growing current clients, adding new organizations, and completing Vectorform's market offering.
