Former Employee - Engineering Specialist

I worked at FormFactor full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Excellent group of people to work with. Pay and benefits are great. Work-life balance is also very manageable.

Cons

Corporate decision making for restructuring business units seem to be based on bold ideas without much of a plan for success in completing and implementing said changes in a cost effective and... sustainable manner.

Advice to Management

Be the innovative industry leader you're supposed to be and are positioned to be instead of following other corporations trends and settling for "good enough".

I have been working at Arburg full-time

Pros

Good culture and friendly environment. Training is comprehensive for basics field service technician skills. Quite a bit of travel is necessary

Cons

Not much upward mobility. Very limited resources when coming across technology that is unfamiliar to you. Sometimes a bit too much time spent on the road
