I have been working at Forrester full-time for more than 10 years
Pros
Many people spend their careers looking for a culture like the one we have at Forrester. I am surrounded by smart, caring colleagues who trust one another to do the right thing. They have my back... (and I have theirs). Most of all, you have a voice - people are genuinely interested in what you have to say and what you bring to the table. That starts with the Executive Team - they're incredibly accessible and interested in who you are as a person. Why do I stay? My values are the company's values: honesty, integrity, quality. The Anywhere Work policy gives me the flexibility to decide how I can be most productive. It's clear the company is being thoughtful about what the future of work might look like.
Cons
We could move faster. If the start-up pace is your jam, you might be frustrated here.
Advice to Management
1. Keep being thoughtful and transparent about the future of Anywhere Work. Find ways to bring people together in-person on a regular basis - many of us crave the human connection. 2. Medical... premiums in the US are fast becoming a pain point. The quality of coverage is excellent via Blue Cross Blue Shield, but rising premiums are a huge compensation issue.
I have been working at HubSpot for less than a year
Pros
I really like my team. Very small autonomous teams and you contribute code from day one to production with assistance of course. A great learning experience, really loved it
Cons
None I can think of, it was good. Work is work
