Excellent company for people serious about hospitality, good benefits, concrete core and culture standards that translate companywide, excellent training programs, Isadore Sharp is/was very involved... with operation and frequently visited properties to boost morale, management lays out clear expectations, competitive pay, uniforms provided and cleaned on site, shift meal and employee cafeteria on site, knowing you work for the highest rated hotel company in the industry brings a sense of pride, all properties managed by the company rather than franchise, no stress in dealing with a points based reward system, systems such as Opera/Micros etc. are well maintained and perform well as compared to my experiences as other hotel companies, many managers come in with hospitality degrees but even if you don’t as long as you show dedication and aptitude you can grow into management as well.
You are working with some of the top talent in the industry so expect that at times it can be a little cut throat when it comes to promotions and upward mobility, at some properties there can be... favoritism in regards to promotion despite the company laying out promotions to be merit based, at times can be stressful because guest expectations are high.
Advice to Management
I don’t have any advice to management as a whole. I’ve worked with several hotel companies and found Four Seasons to be the most well organized. Every job will have cons and the few I laid out are... mostly just negative aspects of working for a company that has high expectations of it’s employees.

Love working for a company that allows me to be my true self at all times. It allows for us to be creative and always working towards a common goal. Lots of training is available for those that... want to take them, including a great $1k a year tuition reimbursement is offered. A fun and close knit group of co-workers that are dedicated in taking care of the properties while having fun.
Maybe better 401k contribution match.

Keep the culture going with a lot of heart and laughter.
