Current Employee - Full Time

I have been working at Thales full-time for more than 8 years

Pros

All of the employees here are so great! They really care about you and what is going on in your life. The company even has baby showers for the people in the company having babies. Everyone here... is like family. A lot of the people here have been here for 15 - 30 years. It is hard to leave your family. We also have a lot of people who come back after testing out the waters at other companies. They now have parental leave with paid maternity and Paternity leave! This is so great and just goes to show how they focus on a work life balance. They also have an alternative work schedule where you get off every other Friday. The company picnics, off-sites and parties are really great. A good way to get employees together and get a nice break from work. There is even a pingpong table, air hockey and foosball table in the Engineering Building. I also love the opportunity for growth. A lot of the people I have worked with started out in entry level jobs and have worked their way up to Managers and VPs.

Cons

At the moment I can not think of any negative things about working for Thales Defense & Security Inc.
