"Rewarding Career"Dec 17, 2018

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Gallagher full-time for more than a year

Pros

Role is challenging but rewarding. Truly feel that my direct Manager values my input and ideas and is dedicated to improving our department. Office Perks - Corporate Office has a free gym on site... with great work out classes offered. Coffee bar and sushi bar in cafeteria. Nice outdoor work spaces and either a treadmill or bike desk on every floor.

Cons

For corporate headquarters, you will need to live in the suburbs or have a car. It's difficult to get to from downtown.

Current Employee - .NET Developer

I have been working at Amerisure part-time for more than 3 years

Pros

- Company culture. Friendly, down-to-earth people; healthy work-life balance; fun volunteering events. - Benefits. Great health insurance and retirement plans. - Technology. Interesting mix of... older, more static technology and the bleeding edge. There's enough variety that there's a niche for everyone. - Outlook. There's an appetite for continuous improvement. Leadership is open to new technologies and suggestions from every corner of the organization.

Cons

- Expertise can restrict flexibility, which can slow the rate of change. - Overengineering is a potential threat. Amerisure's commitment to agility has been helping address both of these... concerns, however.
