I worked at Gallup full-time for more than 10 years
Wellbeing focused and a deep desire to create balance. A growth-mindset and always seeking new ways to shift, change and grow. Authentically cared for. No matter what you go through in life,... leaders are there with you. A true family feel. You are apart of something that feels big and loving. Science and thinking that impacts culture and provides a voice in the world that impacts and matters. The ability to measure culture quickly and with a deep desire to influence that culture. Finally, the experts in the strengths-based world and leaders lead with a strengths-based lens.
Career growth within the organization comes from a spot of individual courage. Employees are allowed to own their journey in many ways. Managers will celebrate and partner with that employee, but... it's an organization that puts an emphases on the individual to seek growth and they are encouraged to do so. Personally, I found that extremely exciting and freeing, but maybe thats's not for everyone?
Advice to Management
Keep "preaching" family and community. It's what makes Gallup different from others companies. When that happens, employees will say "we" vs. "Gallup" and such language shows the values alignment... and what makes the organization special.
