Current Employee - Senior Director

I have been working at Gannett full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Good benefits package, competitive salary and plenty of opportunity for advancement. Its values have dramatically improved since the spin from TEGNA.

Cons

Like other newspaper companies, Gannett is fighting the decline to the print newspaper franchise.

Former Intern - Internship

I worked at Korea Society the for less than a year

Pros

-it's the only one of its kind in NYC -partners with asia society, japan society, get a pretty good grasp of community -experience in communications, event management, Salesforce, administrative... tasks, etc. -nice coworkers

Cons

-cold office, not very collaborative -no benefits for interns, not even paid -if you're looking to learn something beyond general office tasks

Advice to Management

Pay your interns and involve them in meaningful work.
