What Employees Say
I worked at Garmin for less than a year
- Helpful teammates and managers. - Every intern is assigned a full-time software engineer to mentor them and lead them in the right direction. - Working on important content within the company.... Most "intern projects" are usually tasks that would have been assigned to full-timers, and most will go into production at some point. - HR does a great job organizing intern events and allowing the interns to interact outside of work. - Active lifestyle focused environment. Lots of opportunity to test products. - Working with intelligent people.
- Lots of system and module testing (within aviation) - Not really a con, but there Garmin keeps a complex code base that is decently hard to navigate. Additionally, the acronyms will take some... getting used to.
