Former Employee - Senior Buyer

I worked at General Dynamics full-time

Pros

Hired me right out of college. Decent entry level pay. Loved my job.

Cons

Sold General Dynamics Pomona Division 1982 to Hughes Aircraft. I had to relocate to Tucson, AZ.

Current Employee - Project Engineer

I have been working at Pratt & Whitney full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Very flexible working hours, paid time off, challenging work & great people.

Cons

Emphasis on efficiency & getting things done fast, but processes, procedures & requirements outdated and inefficient.

Advice to Management

Eliminate useless processes that micromanage execution for experienced workers.
