Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Genesis HealthCare full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Career advancement, leadership development opportunities, promotion from within. With over 400 locations nationwide the ability to grow and develop within Genesis is always available in just about... every corner of the country.

Cons

A few less conference calls would be nice.

Advice to Management

Continue to create a culture focused on patient centered care, staff recognition and promoting and expecting integrity from all employees and vendors.

Really focused on doing the ethically right thing, no matter how much effort or money it takes. Respect for each other and patients/families. Willingness to listen and try new ideas. Lots of... internal promotions.

Cons

Constant changes, like anywhere in healthcare.

Keep focused on developing and appreciating the staff
