Featured Review

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Genesis HealthCare full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Career advancement, leadership development opportunities, promotion from within. With over 400 locations nationwide the ability to grow and develop within Genesis is always available in just about... every corner of the country.

Cons

A few less conference calls would be nice.

Advice to Management

Continue to create a culture focused on patient centered care, staff recognition and promoting and expecting integrity from all employees and vendors.

Former Employee - Clinician

I worked at Horizon Behavioral Health full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

I really enjoyed working at Horizon. I felt the management team was great and supported the clinicians. I enjoyed working with the population and the work.

Cons

Leadership administration does not always understand that what is capable on paper is not capable when working with humans with mental illness or substance use. The billing requirements was too... steep.
