Current Employee - Senior Director

I have been working at Gilead Sciences full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

A company with an inspiring mission and incredible track record of developing products that transform patients lives and impact public health.

Cons

Going through a period of organisational and senior management change having not seen its strongest period of growth.

Advice to Management

Focus more on good people management and development opportunities for staff. Less of a focus on inclusion initiatives that achieve the opposite.

Pros

PTO is given even to part time employees as is the option to partake of the insurance benefits and 401k, which itself is very generous.

Cons

Pay scale is not the most competitive
