Current Employee - Front-Office Supervisor

Pros

— Being a timeshare, there's a bond between owners and agents if you stay long enough since the same owners come 1 sometimes 5 to 7 times a year — Management is primarily transparent and supportive —... Company culture promotes whole-hearted and genuine relationship building between both guests and staff as well as internally among staff

Cons

—Compared to other starting salaries at bigger hotels and resorts, the pay isn't amazing...although my manager actively pushes for better pay among his employees...seniority typically receives pay... raises — My home resort has presently required that I stretch myself into other department duties due to the inability to acquire sufficient staffing (i.e., maintenance) But! Learning curves are a perk if you're interested in gaining experience on how to manage a property —At the smaller resorts, and in general, there's a quick cap to career growth within resort operations
