Former Employee - Product Manager

I worked at Grooveshark full-time for less than a year

Pros

I went from product marketing to digital product manager

Cons

none, a fast track education for me

Advice to Management

none

Former Employee - Director

I worked at Curalate full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Curalate is the best job that I've ever had. Thank you for bringing a group of talented, bright and insanely fun individuals together. You have truly created something special here that I know I'll... never have again. I've learned more in the last 5 years than I would have in business school or at any other job. I can't wait to see what happens next with this company and will miss the entire team.

Cons

It's been difficult at times to deal with attrition and management changes (it's definitely not for everyone). We've also promoted individuals that didn't deserve the role, which is also frustrating.

Advice to Management

If we see that something is broken or that one of the teams is lagging behind the others in terms of progress, fix it sooner. Otherwise it impacts the rest of the org and makes our job much harder.... Keep the doors of transparency open. And keep rallying the teams!
