Former Intern - Internal Audit

I worked at HCA Healthcare for less than a year

Pros

The internal audit department has a great culture. It is clear that everyone is interested in growing and sharing their knowledge with others. The department is more than willing to help you find... your place within the company, whether that be in a hospital or at the corporate location.

Cons

Flex time is not an option in this department. Strict 8-5 schedule due to the nature of the work.

Current Employee - Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Surgery

I have been working at Hospital for Special Surgery full-time for more than a year

Pros

Very PA friendly hospital. Opportunity to do floor work and scrub in the OR as first assist. Yearly increase in salary guaranteed. Felt very taken care of during COVID crisis.

Cons

Management is sometimes difficult to get in touch with, other times very timely.
