What Employees Say
I worked at HRnet One full-time for less than a year
This company used to be a retained searching firm, and most of its senior leaders still works as a typical retained Consultant, you can engage with lots of senior candidates and you can learn a lot... from the senior candidates. Moreover, you have quite independency to handle your own cases, as long as you can show the progress or the result after spending your effort and company's money.
No work and life balance, they will brainwash you like "work is life, life is work, so, your work and life balanced!" The morning exercise could be quite annoying to some people No appreciation and... no fun environmental, even you did something good, they will only say "what's the next?" Everyday, Every week, Every month, only thing is NUMBER, if you can't cooking the NUMBERS, you will suffer. Almost no training.
Advice to Management
If you hire a new role, please be realistic and have a proper training process, give them guidance.
I worked at PeopleSearch
Everybody has to pass the same quarterly KPI system which is common in recruitment practice.
- Horrible environment (micro-managing, no real leader, using the same old KPI system to measure success for every region without taking into account its different circumstances ) - Just want to use... people there is no mentorship no training (HR is complied by interns) - As in a money-driven business, seems like the sole goal of this company is to recruit, use and then throw people away without even compensating properly (only send out bonus when quarterly sales passing 3 times payroll cost including tax) - All the promises before hiring was never redeemed or actualized. Everybody is lying and trying to trick people including line managers and HR.
Advice to Management
If you cannot afford enough human capital then start with a smaller team. This bad recurrence of reputation will only kill the brand before it actually tries to reach the goal of using people. If... you don't have satisfied employees how do you expect to have satisfied customers.
