Current Employee - Senior Treasury Manager

I have been working at Helen of Troy full-time for less than a year

Pros

Helen of Troy does a great job caring about its employees. Diversity and Inclusion are important. The training is high quality, easily available and encouraged. Additionally the company is concerned... with the environment. They do not just talk the talk they do great things to help the future of the planet. So far my experience at working with others here has been incredible. Everyone is willing to help out and that includes the amazing IT team.

Cons

The company is growing as well as the amount of work to be done. Julian the CEO has done a great job of leading the company through a major transition but that required buy in from all employees. I... see the results in the attitudes of the employees. It seems everyone is engaged and ready to put what it will take to achieve the company goals. So the only con from this is if you aren't ready and willing to work hard don't come to Helen of Troy. Not only will you work hard but you will feel a sense of accomplishment as well. At the end of the day it is what most people seek in a new employer. But if that isn't for you, it is important that you know this is expected of all employees.

Advice to Management

Continue the hard work of keeping everyone focused on the end goal of transformation. It is working and as someone coming in from the outside, it is refreshing to be at a company so intent on... improvement.
