Featured Review

Current Employee - Current Employee

I have been working at Helen of Troy full-time for more than a year

Pros

The company has invested quite a bit of time, money, and energy into creating a positive and efficient work environment. The salary and benefits are competitive for the region. There are many... non-traditional benefits including an on-site, subsidized cafeteria, on-site gym, one day of paid charitable leave per year, summer hours, and early release before all company holidays. The people are friendly and welcoming, There are many different training options now available to all employees.

Cons

None that I can think of. Always a few bad apples in the bunch, but the majority of employees are positive and hard-working.

Advice to Management

Continue fostering a positive and professional work environment.

Current Employee - Digital Content Developer

I have been working at Conair part-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Friendly group of people to work with. Breakfast and lunch provided in a nice cafeteria. Salary and benefits are reasonable and fair. Low stress environment.

Cons

Nothing overly negative about the company. They recently went through 2 rounds of layoffs, probably to reduce overall costs of doing business.

Advice to Management

Your doing a reasonably good job.
