Former Employee - Physical Therapist Assistant

I worked at Hospital for Special Surgery full-time for less than a year

Pros

Positive team, welcoming environment, busy work to make the day fly by!

Cons

No upward trajectory, but this was limited by a large gap in the assistant vs. physical therapist role.

Current Employee - Ultrasound Technologist

I have been working at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital part-time for more than a year

Pros

A company culture that prioritizes work-life balance, yields increased productivity and overall happiness in the workplace. Great people, professional environment, and always open-door opportunities... are unlimited. Commitment is the key to success.

Cons

Do not have such, at all.

Advice to Management

Recognize, motivate, promote and endorse individuals rather than just a team. Aligned incentives are the only true way to ensure everyone on a team is working toward a common goal. Framing the... strategy in multiple ways ensures each employee has a clear, personal understanding of how working together benefits himself, the team and the Company goals. This technique will definitely allow you to motivate the team to accomplish amazing things which are the main NYP mission.
