Current Employee - Accounting/Administrative Team

I have been working at Hyland full-time for less than a year

Pros

Great co-workers and managers Work life balance where they actually push you to balance your life and be happy both mentally and physically. They make it easy to make healthy life choices (and... some maybe not so healthy) with the on-site gym, constant social events, meditation opportunities and 3 diners, all with a salad! There is a real effort to do the right work. You're pushed to complete your work, but in a way that allows you to complete it the right way and not hurry just to get it done. Career guidance and growth and learning opportunities are all around.

Cons

No real cons at the moment, but I do have some concerns as the company grows. From what I can tell, they've been able to balance growth with the old culture and keep things that matter around. As the... company continues to grow, I hope they don't lose sight of what got them to this point and keep this an amazing place to work.

Advice to Management

Continue to keep Hyland a great place to work by doing the small things that big companies don't do. "The People" is always the main reason people decide to stay at a job and so far you've done a... great job keeping talent and great people, keep it up.

Current Employee - Senior Training & Development Specialist - Team Lead

I have been working at PEC Safety full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Despite the rapid growth, there is a sense of community that permeates the culture. Friendly exchanges between acquaintances and strangers in the hallways are as common as the results-driven hard... work performed by each employee.

Cons

Clarity of goals has been an issue in the past. However, leadership has been much more transparent and consistent when speaking about the current status of the company and future plans.

Advice to Management

Improvement in communication is key. We already have extremely talented people in critical positions, now we need to get them all on the same page as individual departments work toward the common... company goal.
