Current Employee - Software Engineer(Internship)

I have been working at Imagine Learning part-time for more than a year

Pros

- Very nice environment - People are hard working but also know how to have fun

Cons

There is nothing that I don't like.

Current Employee - Consultant

I have been working at Education Elements full-time for more than a year

Pros

The consulting team is a group of smart, passionate and hard-working former educators/consultants that truly care about changing the landscape of education. The team is collaborative, joyful and... distributes leadership/ownerhsip well. Most school districts are highly satisfied with the services and the EE team members they get to partner with. The company is focused on growing services beyond its core personalized learning offering. This creates opportunities for team members to pursue other areas of interest and have the resources to build expertise in these.

Cons

District partnerships are all over the country, so team members must be committed to travel (50% of work time is about average). The schedule does reflect the school year, and when schools are on... break, consultants get a lot more down time.

Advice to Management

Ensure that team members feel supported in project work and clear on their development pathways. Leadership should focus not only on sales, but equally on the development of employees and providing... feedback on project deliverables.
