Current Employee - Employment Specialist II

I have been working at Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

I can't say enough great things about the STEP program. When I first got hired on, I envisioned myself being here for 1 year maximum. Here I am 13 years later writing a review. Management is... absolutely top notch... Diana Figueroa, Gracen Rhodes, Dorothy Blubaugh, Jennifer Richey are always going above and beyond to do everything in their power to show their employees how much they are appreciated. These women I don't just consider my management team, I consider them family. They make it a pleasure to come to work daily. They do a phenomenal job setting you up with participants that gel well with your personality. The participant I work with is my best friend. I literally get paid to hang out with my best friend. The education you get while in Step, is a great stepping stone (no pun intended) for college students looking for work in many fields related to special needs adults. Oh did I forget to mention how rewarding it is to make a difference in someone's life daily?. There are very few jobs that are so rewarding.
