Former Employee - Paralegal

I worked at International Paper full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Opportunities for career development and advancement and above market salaries. Great opportunities for employees serious about their careers and the success of the company.

Cons

Company headquartered in Memphis - not an ideal place to live for some and difficult for company to recruit talent from outside Memphis area. This can be a pro for good talent to negotiate better... compensation packages.

Advice to Management

Human resources needs an overhaul! Inefficient, burdensome processes and terrible communication with employees.

I worked at Bosch Hydraulic Connections

Pros

Open communication between employer and employee. Good benefit package. Pleasant work environment. Good working conditions. Well organized. Excellent on hands training.

Cons

Fast paced Employees must be able to handle large volumn of detailed projects in a specified time frame. Computer program is problematic.

Advice to Management

More clarity with job descriptions. Sometimes the business is more than the employees can handle as quickly as needed but overall a very good place to work.
