Former Employee - Director

I worked at Irvine Company full-time for more than a year

Pros

Irvine Co invests a lot in training/development at every level in the company. Its a great career benefit in addition to salary, etc. I've been at a few large companies, and this is by far the best... in terms of setting employees up for success. Most just give you a training budget, do an annual training for compliance, or simply expect you to do it on your own time. Irvine Co is genuinely focused on the growth of their people, and the understanding that this pays dividends many times over. They also don't rest on their laurels, and are always striving to improve the experience for employees and customers.

Cons

High performance company is not for everyone
