Former Employee - Proofreader

I worked at Ivie full-time for less than a year

Pros

- Excellent culture. They hire wonderful people. - Great benefits. - Education opportunities to learn new skills.

Cons

- Proofreading can be a little dull. - The pay could have been better. - I worked overtime a lot. But that had a lot to do with the client.

Advice to Management

You guys are awesome! I'm so glad I had the opportunity to work for Ivie.

Current Employee - Data Scientist

I have been working at Bluenose full-time for more than a year

Pros

I have loved so far my experience at Bluenose. I have had three very interesting projects and I worked with very nice people. I had to pick up quite a bit of software skills to achieve production... level code. Bluenose let me take hadoop and Python classes and attend the conferences necessary to keep up with the very fast evolving field of Big Data. I can say say it has been overall my best work experience in 15 years. I think we have clear directions from our CEO and excellent communication.

Cons

It is a start up and it comes with its load of hard work but that makes it more interesting too.

Advice to Management

keep up the hard work
