Featured Review

Former Employee - Vice President - Technology

I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Benefits, Potential Resources, Mobility, Diversity and Inclusive

Cons

Global, Large, Finance requiring Process Control and Regulatory compliance

Current Employee - Teacher

I have been working at 51Talk part-time for more than a year

Pros

Students are great - engaging and inspiring Prepared Slides are usually good Content Flexibility

Cons

Non-competitive pay Non-responsive Support and Management Lack of accountability for their own mistakes

Advice to Management

Get up to par with your competitors, pay-wise; the company will fold very soon if this is not rectified. If an employee asks you to do something, and it is within your policies, do it. And if you... don't do it, take accountability for your mistakes and fix it. I will be negative word of mouth for 51Talk for a very long time, and I absolutely love teaching and love the kids I taught. That should tell you that the problems are fixable.
