Former Employee - Business Analyst

I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

JPMC Has a lot of potential for mobility and amazing benefits

Cons

A great deal of bureaucracy as you would expect from a large financial institution.

Current Employee - Associate

I have been working at GLG full-time for more than a year

Pros

Coming from a large organization of 75,000+ employees, GLG is a dream company to work for. The work is stimulating and challenging, people are incredibly friendly, and there are opportunities for... rapid growth if you put in the work and show your value. The benefits that GLG provides are also vast and on-par with larger companies with much deeper pockets, which shows that management truly cares about the well-being of their employees.

Cons

Things are changing rapidly, which could be viewed as a con to some. Depending on how willing you are to change as the company changes, there is definitely room to add more onto your plate and... advance quickly through the company, so it really is what you make of it.

Advice to Management

Continue listening to employee feedback! It has improved tremendously over the years and it is exciting to be part of a company where senior management takes an active approach to employee commentary.
