"Great experience"Sep 30, 2019

Former Intern - Field Engineer Intern

I worked at Kiewit Corporation for less than a year

Pros

great diversified experience, a lot of responsibility

Cons

work 45-60 hours per week

"Great Culture"Oct 21, 2019

Former Intern - Mechanical Engineering Intern

I worked at Burns & McDonnell for less than a year

Pros

As a young engineer, I've had experience at 3 companies and Burns by far has the best culture. Work force is fairly young and management was extremely willing and excited to take the time to teach... fellow team members. Company is growing fast and everyone on board is very extremely ambitious to continue to improve.

Cons

Pay was lower than competitors although many argue that the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) makes up for that.
