What Employees Say
I worked at Kohler for more than a year
Overall, there was a lot of versatility from working on everyday development engineering tasks to picking up and coordinating special projects to aid in improvement.
Some days were slow, some were fully loaded. Had to manage time well.
I have been working at Vollrath full-time for more than 3 years
Focused on family and allows for flexibility with kids and life. Big cultural initiative to make it an even better place to work. Good pay and benefits with onsite clinic. The best part about... Vollrath is that you become part of the team from day 1 and everyone is eager to see you succeed and learn throughout your career. Folks here are more than willing to offer up their expertise to better you personally and professionally. There is a lot of heritage with this company and the pride is easily noticeable no matter which department you are in.
With any job there are cons but they tend to be more personal in nature so my biases should not sway your own personal feelings on different aspects of the job. The only way you would know this is to... be in a specific position and develop your own opinion. Get expectations up front and look at the pros list as an upside.
