Former Employee - Lab Technician

I worked at Lab Support part-time for more than 3 years

Pros

I had a good experience with lab support. I was contacted for a position and placed with the client pretty quickly. I started with them (pleasanton ca branch) in 2015 then was hired on as permanent... in 2016. I stayed at that company i was placed with for 3years. Also the recruiter would check in with me and my boss to make sure everything was going smoothly and would bring us chocolates every year for Christmas. I was offered health insurance through lab support but at the time I didn’t need it.

Cons

In my experience there were no cons.

Current Employee - Scientific Recruiter/Account Manager

I have been working at Astrix Technology Group full-time for less than a year

Pros

-Flexible Schedule: They understand that life happens and may need to flex work hours with personal time. -Autonomy: No micromanagement, no manager breathing down your neck, they expect you to be a... professional and do what needs to be done to be successful. -Communication/Visibility: Super collaborative environment with Managers/Directors that are always there to help when needed - all you have to do is ask. -Growth: Plenty of room for growth and opportunity throughout the business due to consistency within our sales and professional services team. -Work Styles: Everyone has different work styles, motivations, habits, and "whys", this is understood throughout the company and accepted so we all try to learn off of each other and improve on ourselves professionally and personally.

Cons

-Hours: Some times the hours are long, sometimes the workday is hectic and stressful, but i believe this can be said about any career/position.
