Featured Review

Current Employee - Outside Sales Representative

I have been working at Lawson Products full-time for more than a year

Pros

Great work life balance Plenty of support from DSM & RSM Great training personnel A lot of great new things coming that are proprietary to Lawson I’m not sure what some of these reviews are talking... about but my DSM and RSM will do whatever they can to help you. I even call the corporate trainers when I have questions and never get turned away. Also all the new products were promoting get mailed to you, I’m only buying extras or other items I want to demo

Cons

Every company has challenges in certain departments and ours is the “Specials” but things have been changing for the better

Advice to Management

I will say keep doing what you’re doing.

Former Employee - Financial Advisor

I worked at Edward Jones full-time for more than a year

Pros

Incredible training. Supportive network of advisors. You are given every opportunity to succeed with all the right tools. I was never turned away from another advisor when I needed help.

Cons

Perhaps more emphasis on sales training, and more exposure to the appointment process. Aside from that, I have nothing bad to say about the company. It is just a difficult industry to work in.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing! Just make sure your new hires are given the opportunity to see first and second appointments, and not just annual review appointments. Maybe provide some additional... sales training as well.
