Former Employee - Project Manager/Engineer

I worked at Lego Construction full-time for more than a year

Pros

Working at LEGO you will be working with a team of caring and hard working individuals who have a collaborative no-ego involved approach to everything they do.

Cons

Growing pains... Lack of communication from upper management, and overall lack of organization. You get plucked out of a project without an explanation or feedback. Training for the role could also... be bettered. Despite all this the company is still great and just needs to make some adjustments.

Advice to Management

Opening channels of communication and making sure you set time apart to take employee feedback on a regular basis (and implement change based on that feedback) will help employees feel heard and help... address organization issues.

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at The LEGO Foundation full-time for more than a year

Pros

Working with a wonderful family that wants to make a difference for children. A well-loved brand.

Cons

CEO (Randa Grob Zakhary) a disaster - a toxic manipulator, with terrible work life balance habits. She demotivates team, is excessively planned, lacks fun and entrepreneurial ethic, cannot listen, is... unaware of damage she is doing.

Advice to Management

Get a fun, entrepreneurial, flexible CEO for the Lego Foundation.
