Pros
Good people to work with
Cons
Not enough resources for such big goals
Pros
Prosper has a good culture and the CEO and executive team are good at communicating a clear direction for the company and being transparent. The engineering department is making good progress at... reducing technical debt. There are lots of opportunities to learn and grow as a software engineer with interesting problems to solve. The company is profitable and has so far avoided layoffs despite uncertainty with the economy.
Cons
Employees within 50 miles are required to be in-person 2 days per week. Employees are sometimes expected to juggle multiple projects at once, between product initiatives and tech initiatives.... Compensation could definitely be more competitive. Some employees rarely take time off and are overworked.
