Current Employee - EMT-Basic

I have been working at LifeLine Ambulance Service (MA) full-time for more than a year

Pros

Significant positive change in culture under new ownership and management. Performance focused, no BS culture. A lot of weaker employees have been pushed out (which may explain some of the negative... reviews here). Employees appear to be listened to and valued more today. Merger with Fallon will further strengthen the company and its leadership Part of the larger Transformative Healthcare family of companies (along with Fallon, Stewarts). Seems like one of the companies in our region that is going places. Reportedly now the number one company by patients served in MA+NH Improved pay. Great referral and sign-on bonuses. Easy to earn an extra $1.50/hr just for showing up on time and completing your paperwork! Patient & customer driven. Top facilities appear very happy with level of service. New leadership seem truly committed to continuous improvement in patient care, on-time performance, tools & equipment

Cons

You'll work hard, this is a busy operation! No 911 (though plenty of this at sister companies Fallon and Stewarts) Company still trying to shed some of the 'bad rap' earned years ago under... previous ownership and management

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing, things are changing for the better. I don't think many of the poor reviews from years past hold true any more Open up career opportunities to move between sister... companies Of course, pay us more! :)

Current Employee - Advanced/FTO

I have been working at MedStar EMS full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

A very good place to work. Primary 911 for City of Ft Worth and other cities. Company atmosphere is very good. Culture within the management team is very welcoming, much better than other services in... the area especially of the orange/blue variety. Pay is very good and multiple shifts/rotations.

Cons

Gossip and drama, but what company does not have that
