Featured Review

Former Employee - Call Center Representative

I worked at Luth Research full-time for less than a year

Pros

Easy, fun, and goal oriented

Cons

Headphones, long surveys, down time

Current Employee - Director

I have been working at Genomatica full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

A purpose-driven company with exciting R&D environment driven by state-of-the-art technology platforms and passionate experts with experience. Teamwork-based R&D culture to solve exciting science and... engineering challenges, where diligence and efforts are very well appreciated and acknowledged. Also, the executive leadership team is very approachable and cares employees’ happiness and wellness. A right place to maximize one’s potential and develop career in the field of systems biology and metabolic engineering.

Cons

Few technology functionalities can be enhanced by hiring senior leadership with stronger technical expertise. At the same time, this would be an excellent opportunity for someone’s career development... internally, as well.

Advice to Management

Genomatica’s R&D is nearly free from unnecessary, self-interest-driven competitions, politics, and bureaucracy (CPB). Keeping up the excellent R&D culture and minimizing/eliminating any unnecessary... CPB will keep attracting talents and make Genomatica’s R&D the best in the world.
