I worked at MPC full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

- The talented crew - The positive vibe of the studio - The willingness to share ideas and methodologies - Junior artists are given responsibility, but have solid backup from seniors helping them... grow. - Good communication between 2D and 3D department - Management’s willingness to cultivate creativity and openness - Free snacks

Cons

- Unpaid overtime as staff - Some projects have schedules that aren’t completely thought through, resulting in a lot of overtime for those projects.

Advice to Management

Keep the open door policy you currently have, make sure to keep listening to feedback from the artists and make sure schedules are though through all the way. Artists are the ones paying with their... time in the end.
