I have been working at MTD Products full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Family environment Helpful coworkers Great quality policy

Cons

Converting from family owned to publicly traded company

Advice to Management

Continue to be supportive to the financial needs of maintaining a robust quality system

I have been working at Dealer Tire

Pros

Rewarding work. It’s great to see firsthand the impact you make on a dealership’s profitability. Great hours, weekends off. The pay is more than fair for what is expected of you. Bonuses are... significant and goals are more than achievable. I have only missed my bonus twice in one year, one month when I was out with a back injury (i was encouraged by my bosses to take my time and heal properly while on short term disability), and another month following a big buy up from my dealership. Dealer Tire made me a lot of promises when I was hired on. They have lived up to every single one of them. Proud to be part of a company that walks the walk too.

Cons

Upward mobility seems a little difficult in the field. There are good people waiting for new positions to become available.

Advice to Management

Keep taking care of your people, and we will continue to grow!
