I have been working at Mattermark full-time for more than a year
The people I work with are intelligent, diverse, creative, compassionate, friendly, and driven. I feel like we make real progress on our objectives on a weekly basis. Modernization of tooling (Docker..., Mesos, Elasticbeanstalk) has made it much easier to be an effective engineer.
The office can be a loud place to work. There are not enough restrooms to accommodate everyone at peak times.

From the work we're doing to continually improve Slack's software to the way we're leading the industry in providing a supportive work... environment for our employees, I've been continually impressed by our culture, our customer focus, and the way we are focused on achieving our mission. From the way that leadership acted quickly to pivot to remote working during the early days of Covid to the thoughtful benefits rolled out to improve home offices and express solidarity with working parents, Slack takes care of its people!
We're building the future of work. It's HARD. To excel at Slack you'll need to be comfortable with ambiguity, be willing to experiment (and fail every once in a while!), and have an attitude to try,... try again.
