Advice to Management

I can only account for my own time here. I started out in one department. After a little over a year the owner unfortunately had to down size my department due to unfortunate circumstances. It was... clear to all that she wanted to keep us ALL but simply had to make an executive decision. Despite the position she was put in and much to my surprise, She offered me a position in another department because she simply " didn't want to see me go". She could have very well let me go but and would have been justified in doing so. She said " I will never hurt people like you". And assured me that she would put me back in my department as soon she was able. I ended up having to resign for unrelated reasons but I could never forget what she did for me. The consensus I got from that is that if you work hard she has no problem with having your back tooth and nail! In addition to that that when I gave my letter of resignation she basically said the door was always open. As I said I can only give MY account and I will never forget what she did for my family and I by extending my employment when she would have been justified by letting me go. I would go back anytime : )

Former Employee - Cage Supervisor

I worked at Seminole Gaming full-time for more than a year

Pros

Honestly this company was phenomenal. Sure people on here will complain about the points system and policies, but honestly most people that do just took advantage of the system and didn't care enough... about keeping their jobs because they gave plenty of leniency. I loved this job. I worked my hardest week after week over 70 hours per week and was rewarded for it. In less than a year I went from a cashier to banker/trainer to supervisor. I probably wasn't mature enough to take on that role yet but I really wanted it. I made the biggest mistake of my life and to this day I wish I would've used a sick day because I would've done incredible things. My heart was broken earlier this February when I was offered that Cage Supervisor job at Hardrock Casino in Hollywood and passed my drug test but my offer was withdrawn. Since then I've been from job to job and found a job I enjoy but nothing compares to the love I had working at this place. My coworkers were awesome. Sure it was a lot of stress but it was just an exciting fast paced crazy job that was so enjoyable. To this day my biggest regret was parting ways with this company. I wish that 4-5 years later I could be given a second chance but I honestly know that it'll never happen because of how things ended at COCO. My advice to anyone who is a hard worker is to not take working here for granted. Seminole Casino is a terrific company to work for. Be on time/early, work your hardest, and come to work with a positive attitude and you won't regret it. I promise! :)

Cons

I don't have anything bad to say
