Broker

I have been working at Meyers Associates

Pros

I enjoy working at Meyers Associates for many reason. First, the firm has a very talented and hard working back office staff. From compliance to operations, the firm runs as smoothly as a swiss clock.... Secondly, the freedom to the broker's work style is great. Meyers allows each broker to follow their own trading style and business model. Very Entrepreneurial and the partners will support you in your endevours. Everyone seems to get along. There are a few exceptions of course, but good energy all around.

Cons

Regulators are constantly engaged. Very difficult for a rookie to start here. Firm more ideal for a seasoned professional.

Advice to Management

Don't be afraid to ask for a well deserved raise!

Current Employee - Financial Advisor

I have been working at EJ Sterling full-time for more than a year

Pros

Awesome! Learned a lot, great management! They really teach you what you need to succeed. A great place to learn and a great place to grow.

Cons

Not many Cons. Management really allocates you the tools you need to succeed. You need to be mentally tough and persistent in order to succeed in this business and you definitely develop those traits... here. The only other Con that I can possibly think of is slightly upgrading the resources we're allocated. But overall, a great experience and a solid place to learn!
