Pros
-Learned more about autism -The research team superiors (graduate students in School Psychology) are super supportive and always available to help answer any questions; the project is a work in... progress -Super flexible hours remotely- 5 hrs/week with 1 meeting biweekly
Cons
-Like many internships, this one is unpaid. However, it looks good on a resume and to graduate schools. -I wish it was a more interactive internship; the internship was coding IEP goals - personally,... working one-on-one or in small groups with Autistic kiddos would have been more of a fit for me. -No other cons! Great experience. It depends on what kind of research you prefer.
Pros
- Work Life Balance - Working with people who care - Ability to impact across all levels of the organization
Cons
- None that I can think of during my time.
