Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

Pros

Great work-life balance and wonderful benefits. They truly care about their employees, and community. Several opportunities to engage in collaborative work across the company and globe. The... onboarding process and education was exceptional. The best onboarding and training methods I have ever experienced in the 37 years I have been working in the technology and financial industry! I would recommend to my friends and family to work for Appian. Very intelligent and conscience employees work at Appian.

Cons

A select few executive leaders could use leadership training as they come across to associates as unsociable, "all business" and inexperienced in being a people manager. It takes training and... experience to be an extraordinary people manager, and I believe the company should invest and require its people management, especially CSuite to enroll and participate in leadership seminars and training.
