"Good company"Dec 8, 2019

Current Employee - Software Engineer

I have been working at Microsoft full-time for more than 8 years

Pros

Pay is good. Nice people

Cons

Too much work. Long work hours

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at Hallmark Labs full-time for more than a year

Pros

- People (who genuinely care about each other and the work) - Flexibility - Opportunity for progression - Benefits & Perks - Location - Volunteer & community engagement opportunities -... In-house and external training and certification (Education reimbursement) - Super generous maternity/paternity leave (plus a very family oriented team!) - Opportunity to significantly contribute to the future of Hallmark and their digital transformation - Smaller tech company feel with the backing and support of a global enterprise

Cons

Transitioning from startup to an integrated subsidiary of a massive company can slow down access to certain tech tools etc. Although, this is improving all the time.

Advice to Management

Stay the course. Continue to listen to and implement employee recommendations. Consistently remind people of the awesome opportunity to be part of something really special.
