Featured Review

Current Employee - Principal PM Manager

I have been working at Microsoft full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

The company has really transformed. Great leadership under Satya Nadella, and consistently getting better.

Cons

Some orgs are huge and change can seem too slow

Current Employee - Senior Software Engineer

I have been working at Janrain full-time for more than a year

Pros

* Not a lot of egotistical developers or overzealous management * Open office where it is easy for engineering and other departments to communicate * While they had a bunch of turnover in the past,... they seemed to find their North star and no longer a company of layoffs * CEO impacts the company in very positive ways * Seems like a healthy work/life balance

Cons

While the new location in the Pearl is nice, it isn't as convenient to public transportation. Not a big deal, just not as convenient as the old location.

Advice to Management

As new hires are being interviewed, allow the teams they will be on to have more interaction.
