I have been working at Miki Travel full-time for more than a year

Pros

Gym The company is trying to improve Possibility of changing position internally

Cons

Depending on the team and managers you can get a pretty bad environment in your team The company il old fashioned on the system they use and procedures Most of the managers are working in the... company for over 20 years that makes that the company doesn't progress on their procedures

Advice to Management

Procedures and mentality that worked 15 years ago are not necessarily god these days.

I worked at Travco (UK) full-time for less than a year

Pros

- you can travel - downtown location

Cons

- MS-DOS (don't know what that is, it's the technology used in the 80's - they haven't adjusted) No modern-day technology - none - Inflexible schedule - you can't leave even 5-minutes early, despite... regularly travel on weekends without compensation or in-lieu - Limited benefits - it appears they have basic healthcare coverage. No additional perks - the negative reviews are accurate and so much more that Travco has had removed - aren't honest with their staff or clients - no professional development opportunities or career growth.

Advice to Management

Take some professional development classes and treat your employees with respect. Don't gossip, don't belittle. Listen to their issues are with genuine interest and perhaps consider making changes.... You are going to want to adapt to the global environment.
